We
offer a drop off and pick up service to North Star Elementary School for grades
kindergarten thru sixth grade. This is a full time program during both semesters
and school breaks. We offer a safe program in a healthy environment for kids
to continue to grow and expand their learning.
Our
Pre-K program is headed up by a certified teacher, that works with children
to have them ahead of the game come September and Kindergarten. Our classrooms
are designed for positive learning experiences, with a curriculum that is age
appropriate and follow guidelines for school admissions. We have a Red Rovers
room and a Blue Bird room. We provide opportunity for learning Language Art
and Math skills.
We
offer several preschool classes that work with your child's uniqueness. We offer
a nurturing environment where each child is treated with respect and provided
with experiences that will help develop their intellectual ability. This is
accomplished with play as part of the early development curriculum. Our classes
are divided into three classrooms. Very young threes are in the orange room.
Middle age threes in Rainbow room and older three and early fours are in the
Purple room. We provide opportunity for learning Language Art, Small & Large
Motor Skills, and Math skills.
Northern
Ligths offers care for toddlers, ages 15 months thru 36 months. As part of this
program we offer supervised activities that are early age appropriate. As part
of this program we work with your child on potty training, social interacting
and meeting their needs for a happy well adjusted toddler. Our youngest toddlers,
15 months- 22 months, are in Pink room. Our 23-30 months are in Yellow room,
and 31-36 are in the Green room. Each room has a lead teacher that plans curriculum
based on preset themes.
All
our classroom environments offer additional activities and materials in the
areas of geography, art, science, music, movement, and dramatic play.
